Solar Pump and Pipes Expansion for Clean Water at Kitongo: $30,000 (Phase 2)

This project is the 2nd of a 3 phased water project expansion for our partners at Mainsprings. The water system at Kitongo was put in when the campus was half of its current size. There is an increasing need for water, especially clean water all across our campus so they can better serve our children and communities.

This solar water system would be complete with a new, larger solar water pump (part 1, $48,000 funded in December 2024!), water treatment facility and purification (part 2 - right now!), and new well (part 3 - aiming for fall 2026) that would allow them to get a significant increase in cleaner water.
