The total cost for this project is $16,000 but we are splitting the costs with another donor. Halo Worldwide has 30 acres next to the current Baraka home (where the kids are being evicted). The residents are currently farming on a few of the acres and are collecting water from the river for all of their needs, including drinking water for the kids and irrigation. They have dug a borehole to replace this system and be much more healthy for the kids and take much less manpower. They will also be able to expand farming from 3 acres to 7 and be able to hopefully meet most of the food needs at both of their homes. This project would provide necessary funding for solar panels, pumps, towers piping etc.
