Gathering Place: $12,700 – Funded!

MainSprings seeks to improve the outdoor open area around the girls dorms. The grounds will be developed to an outdoor patio so the girls can read, play and enjoy the outside while in the safety of their compound.

The funds will replace all roof trusses with termite resistant treated timber. Most of these structures including the children’s homes and the guest lodges will also add solar powered water heaters and the necessary re-piping in those homes to add those systems as well. We are working on one of the homes at a time until they are all completed. Join us in this work so the kids can have a safe place to call home!

The area will be paved with large, flat river rocks that are readily available and used on the balcony of the administrative building. There will be no more dirt between the dorms, and is designed so that everything is handicapped accessible!!!
