A Roof Over Their Heads! Funded!

One by one, our partner Open Arms in Kenya is updating the 10 homes in the village with new roofs and solar water heaters. Their mission is to provide HOPE to Kenyan children who have been abandoned or orphaned by providing safe homes, education, and community development. The roofing and solar improvements will provide modern conveniences for the children and staff. This project is part of a larger effort to update older buildings on the site.

The funds will replace all roof trusses with termite resistant treated timber. Most of these structures including the children’s homes and the guest lodges will also add solar powered water heaters and the necessary re-piping in those homes to add those systems as well. We are working on one of the homes at a time until they are all completed. Join us in this work so the kids can have a safe place to call home!
