You have the opportunity to be a part of a blessing by becoming a sponsor, donating or attending the “Dancing Hand In Hand: A Benefit For Orphans” event, taking place in Fridley, Minnesota at Two Stooges Billiards Hall & Grill on April 10, 2016 on behalf of 200 Orphanages Worldwide a Minnesota-based all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization.
Our focus for this event will be purchasing a bus to transport the 97 orphans safely to and from school. The children are currently crowded into a small auto rickshaw, sometimes carrying 19 kids at a time (pictured right). The total cost of this project is estimated at $24,000, and we intend to make every effort possible to try to raise the full amount. This is where you come in.
We are humbly asking you to contribute whatever you can to help make this event as successful as possible. Specifically, we are looking for sponsorships, items for our silent auction, and large-scale items for our raffle. The four levels of sponsorship that will be prominently displayed at the event and advertised in our social media marketing: Bronze ($250), Silver ($500), Gold ($1,000) and Platinum ($2,500).
Last year, because of our supporters and sponsors, you raised $19,156, which helped to build the children a permanent dining hall. Four of our members traveled to India recently to meet the children and see the finished project. At the event, you will hear the stories!
Thanks to you, the children no longer have to eat their meals outside while sitting on the ground.
