According to the US Agency for International Development, “South Sudan is one of the worst places in the world to find a latrine. According to non-governmental organization WaterAid, more than 93 percent of South Sudanese lack access to an improved toilet.”

Latrines are outdoor bathrooms and our partners at Global Orphan Relief have requested our help with funding 3 new facilities! These concrete, ventilated improved latrines will be located in Aweil Town that supports over 250 orphaned children who attend school in this area. There will be 3 latrines – 1 for boys, girls, and 1 for staff/teachers and the support team. 

This is a project that provides safety by providing healthy, ventilated facilities.
